A message from Professor Yamamoto

Welcome to the web site of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Vascular Biology, Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Our laboratory is engaged in cutting edge research in understanding biological processes and molecular mechanisms of diseases and in developing new strategies to solve biomedical problems, that is, translational science. To accomplish the aims, we utilize the modern techniques and knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology and genetics for the investigation. The environment here is highly collaborative and interactive on maintaining a family-like atmosphere both within our laboratory and with others in our university campus.
